Another Donut

Are things getting out of hand?

Today on the way to first period I ran into M. (see previous post to read about her donut gift) outside the classroom and she was carrying a big star-shaped bit of perspex. It had paper stuck on it with the words to 'Twinkle Twinkle Little Star' written. She showed it to me and pointed out where it said 'Good Night Miss J' in the top corner and said, 'I made it for you!'

So I was walking along carrying my new perspex star and she yelled back at me, 'And there's another donut for you on your desk!'

Now, I love my donuts .... but is it ethical to let a student buy you one every morning??? I told her later on that day that it was really lovely but she'd better not get me anymore 'cause I'll get fat if I eat donuts every morning!

I ate a whole bag of rasperberry licorice last night (before parent interviews). It was good.
